A WUIF application has control how it handles each object class. That configuration is defined in the application’s object.types.json file. The application’s object.types.json file is usually a combination of snippets from various WUIFPlugins’ object.types.json, sometimes revised to the needs of the specific application. For example, anytime Asset Lifecycle Information Management shows Tag classes it needs, to use display text of "Asset". That is an application level change that is decoupled from the datasource display text.

In addition, it is the duty of WUIF applications to localize display text.
